A suspect connected to Tupac Shakur’s murder has been arrested.

Tupac Shakur’s name is one of the well known hip-hop star. His music, charisma, and social activism left a permanent mark on the industry and the world. However, his life was tragically cut short on September 13, 1996, when he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. The murder of Tupac Shakur remains one of the most infamous unsolved mysteries in the music industry, and Orlando Anderson has been suspected for Tupac Shakur’s death. He is a young man from California a city known as Compton and is said to be a member of a street known of it’s criminal activities which is named Southside Crips. Tupac Shakur died while in Las Vegas in the night of boxing match between Mike Tyson and Bruce Seldon which was highly anticipated by that time. Tupac Shakur attended the boxing match because of is closeness with Tyson. Sources stated that Tupac Shakur had a physical confrontation with the suspect Orlando Anderson earlier that evening before the boxing match in an hotel named MGM Grand hotel. The CCTV cameras unveiled their conflict and that has led to the speculations that it might have been the cause of the murder. The murder was suggested to be a revenge from Orlando Anderson but investigations must have been done in detail before unveiling Orlando Anderson as the suspect. The investigations have been reportedly full of inconsistencies and also alot if challenges all through. The main challenge of such investigations is the lack of solid evidence that links Orlando Anderson to the murder of Tupac Shakur because their is not footage showing the gunshoting and direct killing of the hip-hop star. Some of the eyewitnesses have been so reluctant and has led to the biggest challenge during this investigation. Orlando Anderson who was the suspect of the murder denied the accusations until his own death which also happened tragically though a gunshot in the year 1998. Orlando’s death led to further complications in the investigation of Tupac Shakur’s murder because Orlando was seen as a direct testimony of the case. The investigation challenges was also contributed by the speculations and various theories concerning that matter as others suggested that Tupac could have been murdered by other rap artist while others mentioned the East Coast – West Coast that was trending by then. All these theories became a big challenge that hindered the investigations.

Witnesses’ memories may have faded, and physical evidence may have deteriorated or been lost over the years. Without fresh leads or breakthroughs, solving this decades-old case has proven exceedingly challenging. According to the last update in September 2021, Tupac Shakur’s death remains unsolved as the Court of Law had not connected this murder to Orlando Anderson who was suspected to be behind the murder. ABC News have shared some information concerning the murder of Tupac and have unveiled a suspect who is suspected to have been connected to the case. The charges are expected to announce soon. This happens literally 27 years after Tupac’s death.
