James Dunlop spoke of the online treatment of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry that has been coordinated online for the last couple of days during the Invictus games in Germany. Dunlop says that it’s been an eye opening to be able to compare the real life treatment of Harry and Meghan versus the online version of them. Dunlop said that he had good time with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during the Invictus games in Dusseldorf and he saw the love both had for everyone.
James called out the online community saying that bullying should be eradicated. They spread negativity about Meghan saying that she was not dressed smart enough to meet the veterans and their families and Meghan was a civilian and did not deserve to be in a military escort. The haters were so bitter of Meghan being one of the civilians VIPs in the event. James said, “I saw coordinated online attacks- after events I saw the same short edited video with the same description posted over multiple different social media accounts within minutes taking up hundreds of thousands of views each. All spewing the same misinformed negative rhetoric.” James Dunlop shared his experience at the Invictus and he said that all he saw was Harry’s standing ovations as he entered the stage and how he related with the competitors as he handed over the medals and taking time to speak to so many people and having pictures with them.
James Dunlop thanked Harry and Meghan for the good time they had together in Dusseldorf .” Personally I’m very thankful for them to spend the entire week with veterans and families from around the world. 21 countries I believe. They brought fun, joy and memories everywhere they went everytime, watching different games and awarding medals. So thank you,” James said.
