One week ago, Prince Harry walked alone up the steps of St. Paul’s Cathedral, cheered on by hundreds of British people. He looked and carried himself like a king, and the photos depicted a man with natural charisma oozing from every pore. The Windsors deliberately avoided last week’s Invictus service, which only added to Harry’s regal appearance. Fast forward to today… King Charles and Queen Camilla trudged up the stairs of St. Paul’s Cathedral to attend the Order of the British Empire Service of Dedication. They wore fancy hot pink robes and appeared grumpy and tired, despite Camilla’s recent blowout. The royal family are always acting that way just to try get attention just because the recent story is all about Prince Harry and Meghan especially after their successful Nigerian visit. This is what a wicked witch looks like with her side kick a cold-blooded toad that no amount of kissing will turn into something noble.Didn’t look like there was much of a crowd there. Charles and Camilla turned around to check but I think they were disappointed.
And the really loud bells – I assume they were to drown out any booing. They have always been trashing Harry and Meghan’s events saying that they are looking for some attention and money but to be honest Harry and Meghan have a very big fan base and their spotlight is really true and so genuine but now the royal family trying to compete are now embarassing themselves. The BAFTA Television Awards were held over the weekend. We had so much other gossip to talk about on Monday that I didn’t bother with the photos. Succession and The Crown’s final season both won major awards. BAFTA president Prince William did not attend the event, which is not surprising given that BAFTA struggles to get William to attend their film awards and I don’t believe he has ever attended a television awards show. William’s absence from the TV awards this year was explained as “Kate is sick, that’s why he could go,” but as previously stated, he never attends the TV awards. That being said, he did send in a pre-recorded video to honor Baroness Floella Benjamin.
