Omid Scobie reports receiving threats after the publication of his new book Endgame.

Definitely, I expected all this because everything that is said about the royal family is true but they do not accept it and every other time someone exposes them, they look for a way to defend themselves and even threaten the one exposing them and so it is in the case of Omid Scobie and his new bombshell book called Endgame, and because the royal family secrets are out, they do not allow that and now Omid Scobie’s life is in danger after receiving threats because of the book he wrote. He stated that there have been “unnecessary attacks about me, it’s been an assassination on my character, my father has been harassed” in response to the Endgame.

Then co-presenter Alison Hammond remarked, “You’ve also received death threats.”

“Yes, and I don’t want to make light of those,” Mr. Scobie retorted. “But death threats are almost the least of my worries.” “I had tabloid journalists harassing my father, last week and the week before.” Now what kind of leaders are this because they are so inhuman and are doing the worst to people who are actually fighting for justice the likes of Omid Scobie, just because of the release of his book and now his life is in threat and even his own father is already harassed. This is not fair at any point and I will always advocate for freedom of expression because we are all supposed to feel free to share our own thoughts and feelings towards some situations.

In his book, Mr. Scobie makes a number of accusations about the Sussexes, such as the claims that William and other family members “covertly sanctioned” leaks to reporters about Harry, that Harry texted the elder brother while they were traveling to Balmoral just before the late Queen passed away last year, and he did not respond.

Daily Beast actually wrote an article about this and below is part of it and they way they show some defense for the royal family and also being part of those who say that Omid Scobie did wrong. “Although he did not mention Piers Morgan by name, it was Morgan who last night said the royals’ names on his Talk TV show in the U.K., leading to a firestorm of follow-up media coverage. He said he was “frustrated” that the names had appeared in the Dutch version, saying: “The book was heavily vetted—legaled, i’s dotted, t’s crossed—and a book that I was extremely proud of [has now been] completely overshadowed…we have a full investigation going on into the series of events that happened.”

Newsnight presenter Victoria Derbyshire had previously pointed out that one of the translators earlier Thursday told the Daily Mail: “As a translator, I translate what is in front of me. The names of the royals were there in black and white. I did not add them. I just did what I was paid to do and that was translate the book from English into Dutch.”

Scobie added, “The English version of the book, the only one I know, the version that I signed off on; that is the book that is out there today. That is the book that has no names in it.”

He appeared to suggest he had not included the names because he would not be able to produce evidence for the claim, saying: “Ultimately, to write the names is a show and tell situation. There is no ability to show, so there was never any attempt to name.
