The British media has been yelling, sobbing, and puking for a full week now—ever since we found out about King Charles and the Princess of Wales’s two health crises—about Prince Harry’s need to board a plane and travel “back” to the UK in order to assist his father and brother. Harry, however, boarded a plane. He took a plane to Jamaica with his stunning spouse, and the two of them showed up unexpectedly at the Bob Marley: One Love premiere. With a spaghetti strap top and a black ballgown-skirt, Meghan looked stunning. Harry appeared well-groomed, hydrated, prosperous, and well-endowed.
This unexpected appearance has far too many hilarious moments. First of all, Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness and his spouse Juliet Holness gave them a hearty welcome. In 2022, PM Holness fired Prince William and Kate in front of the cameras after bringing them into his office. Currently, Holness is following the formal procedures to cut Jamaica’s ties to the United Kingdom. It’s true what Holness said: Harry and Meghan are the only royals that matter. Harry was observed shaking hands and mingling with Ziggy Marley, suggesting that the Sussexes were also warmly welcomed by the Marley family. However, in 2022, the Marley family declined to have a meeting with Peg and Buttons.
Furthermore, this is a massive kick in the ass for all the Salt Island ninnies who are trying to convince themselves that the Sussexes are Hollywood’s “D-listers” who are despised. Brian Robbins, the CEO of Paramount, made an extra effort to take pictures with the Sussexes on the red carpet. My guess is that the Sussexes were either invited guests of the Marley family or of Paramount, or both. Thus, the optics are flawless. The new king and queen arrived in Jamaica after Harry and Meghan did. The Sussexes appear young, vibrant, and contemporary, while the Windsor family appears outdated and out of touch. I’m really having fun with this!
