Prince William will “return to work” this week, it was recently announced. His first event in a month is scheduled! His big comeback is set for this Thursday, April 18, having not worked a day since March 19. He’s going to Surrey to speak with environmentalists and local leaders, or something. To me, it sounds like busy work. Consider yourself so indolent that you’ve decided to hold your first event on a Thursday for the entire month. Finally, there’s a rumor circulating that Adelaide Cottage, Kate and William’s residence on the Royal Windsor estate, is going to undergo a significant renovation and addition. Adelaide is essentially Kate’s separation home with the children, and I’ve been thinking for a while that William lives somewhere else. I’m not even positive that they are both residing in Adelaide full-time this year.
It is getting weirder and weirder with Kate’s cancer. So they can be on the same property to raise the kids together but be separated. Perfect. Cancer made them reassess how they’re doing this separation thing. Kate cannot do any engagement for the foreseeable future. Even Willi is not committing to any major royal work event for the foreseeable future to help out his father who has been also in treatment for cancer. Now they are considering renovating the annex to AC to help with Kate’s recuperation. That all sounds so weird. Does Kate have any mobility issues? Or do they need space for equipment for Kate’s treatment? “Insiders claim the family is thinking about expanding a vacant annex to help with the princess’ recovery.” I apologize for my poor comprehension, but how might the addition of a vacant annex help Kate’s cancer recovery? When I first read it, I was perplexed and thought that, as the Spanish journalist had claimed, Kate was either in a coma or had just come out of it, and that they were constructing a special extension with all the tools she would need to recover. The extension is not for any of them; other c/b pointed out that it’s for Carole. Nanny Maria and the other caregivers for Wales already live nearby. Possibly nobody can tell with these people.
All in all, what I have to say about William and his wife Kate Middleton, is that they are lazy and they can only do anything for their PR and all the attention-seeking strategies. So anytime you see William stepping out then just be sure there must be something that is being done and probably he is chasing the clout.
