Russell Brand’s YouTube Channels suspended following the sexual assaults and rape accusations.

YouTube have suspended Adverts in Russell Brand’s channel after the awake of the sexual assaults and rape accusations by the four women claiming to be victims of the rape between 2006 and 2013 when Russell Brand was at the top of his career. Russell Brand have a huge following in his channel but the adverts running in his videos will not earn him any revenue even though he is allowed to post videos in his channel. YouTube spokesman said, “We have stopped monetization on Russell Brand’s channel for violating our creator responsibility policy.” In a statement to The Hill, YouTube said, “If a creator’s off-platform behavior harms our users, employees or ecosystem, we take action to protect the community.” The platform added that the suspension applies to all channels that Russell Brand has . Russell Brand has three YouTube channels where his main account has a following of up to 6.6 million subscribers and this “Awakening with Russell Brand” YouTube channel has a total of 426000 while his “Stay Free with Russell Brand” has 22200 subscribers. British Broadcasting Company (BBC) also removed comedian’s content from their streaming services after some other organizations cut ties with Russell Brand following the case. Tavistock Wood Agency dropped Russell Brand on Sunday saying that he has terribly misled them.

Despite all the accusations Russell had a show on Saturday where he filled a venue of 2000 people. However, Russell has postponed his upcoming UK comedy shows. His management announcement the suspension of the shows on Tuesday through a statement saying,” We are postponing these few remaining addiction Charity fundraiser shows, we don’t like doing it -but we know you’ll understand.”
