Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, recently visited refugees without bringing any material possessions. She simply made her appearance to the refugee center with an empty hand. She appeared in her pantsuit and an expensive Cefinn sweater vest which I can comment on her sense of fashion improving after she took her time to keenly look at Meghan’s fashion style and now she starts looking like Meghan. She is a copy cat anyway, how can she appear empty handed in that refugee center. She literally wore expensive outfits whose worth can help some of these refugees to at least get a meal or even a clothing. We see Kate having the conversation with the refugees which is not a bad thing but it is so weird for her to be telling them stories without any material support.
Refugees often face unimaginable hardships, leaving their homes and loved ones behind in search of safety and a better life. Kate Middleton’s visit was expected to be helpful in humanizing their struggles and bringing attention to their plight. Her decision to visit empty-handed was a clear statement that she has no feeling about these needy ones and she cannot tell where there is need to help. William and Kate Middleton have made several visits to different foodbanks and refugee centers with their empty hand in the past one year and half. Unlike Harry and Meghan, Kate Middleton and William are rarely seen in any active participation in charitable organizations.
Kate Middleton’s visit to refugees without bringing any material possessions was a big shame with the fact that she appeared in the most expensive outfit to that particular refugee center. This is a reminder to everyone that it is important to show love and the importance of them no matter their situations.
