Taylor Swift who is an American singer and songwriter becomes the second most awarded artist in the shows in history after the well known Beyoncé as comes out with nine wins after her most nominations this year. Her awards includes artist of the year, best pop, song of the year and video of the year. Taylor Swift in her speech gives thanks to her loyal fans for voting her in. “This is unbelievable . The fact that this is a fan-voted award means so much to me.” Taylor Swift said. “It really felt like the adventure of a lifetime this past year. I cannot believe that it was a year ago at the VMAs that I announced the ‘Midnights’ album. All I have to say is thank you.” The singer added.
Taylor Swift later won the song of the year award where she was nominated alongside SZA’s “Kiss Bill” and Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers.” This made Taylor Swift 16th win and she was really happy and went ahead to thank her longtime producer and close friend Jack Antonoff for their first collaboration that was done in the year 1989 and now has a plan of re-recording this year.
